Volunteering at Melrose Little LeagueUpdatedMonday January 27, 2020 byJames Recinito.
Thank you for your interest in being a volunteer with Melrose Little League. All managers, coaches and general volunteers must complete a background check.
As required by Little League, Inc., the Melrose Little League does CORI background checks on all volunteers, including board members, managers, coaches, umpires, administrative volunteers, and anyone who even helps out in an informal manner. Therefore, if you even think you might be interested in volunteering in any capacity whatsoever, please take a few minutes to complete the CORI Background Check Form.
This season for the safety of our players and to be compliant with Massachusetts and Little League policies volunteers will be asked to complete the JDP background check and the Massachusetts CORI review.
Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) Acknowledgement Form: Form used to request Massachusetts criminal offender record information. All Melrose Little League Volunteers are required to fill out this form. Please enter "Melrose Little League" as the organization on page 1 and complete the information on page 2. Print the form, sign and date the bottom of page 1. Return the form along with a legible copy of a valid photo ID to the Safety Director, c/o Melrose Little League.
